HOW YOU SHOULD PREPARE YOUR DESIGN

If you want to prepare your own design of an advertising magnet, make sure to properly prepare it for production:

  • the design should be made in a 1:1 scale in the CMYK color system;
  • the minimum resolution of bitmaps is equal to 300 DPI;
  • all fonts should be converted into curves, shades and transparencies should be converted into bitmaps, files and layers should be flattened;
  • RGB, Pantone or other colors should be transformed into CMYK process colors in accordance with the template;
  • the deep black color must be prepared in the following manner: C:30 M:30 Y:30 K:100;
  • bleeds 2 mm on each side;
  • important graphic elements and text 3 mm away from the cut line;
  • the shape of the punching die of the magnet should be a vector marked on the design with a visible color;
  • for production we accept PDF files (in the conformity mode Acrobat 4 – PDF1.3) and CDR files (Corel, maximum X3 version).

When designing the shapes of magnets, consider the fitting tolerance of the cut in relation to the print, which is equal to 0.5 to 1.5 mm. We do not recommend using frames or lines that are a direct representation of a shape because, due to the cutting tolerances, the distance of the frame from the edge may not be perfectly equal.
